Raised in Louisiana, educated in Dallas, and trained in California, I am proud to represent Gulf Coast Property Owners and Buyers who are dreaming of owning a piece of our coastal paradise along the shores of Alabama and Northwest Florida. From Gulf Shores, Alabama to Pensacola, Florida, I go the extra mile to ensure excellent service and get it “Sold with a Smile!” smiley

Silicon Valley's energy and innovation provided multiple opportunities for growth in professional experience and appreciation of an outdoor lifestyle. The high-stress startups, long commutes, and distance from my southern family took their toll though. Having fond memories of soft, white, sandy beach vacations in balmy Gulf Shores, Alabama I chose to pursue my dream of a developing a creative beach-side life. Sketching and painting by the sea, that is a dream to me.

Stoked with business acumen and tech savvy, I made a giant leap of faith into the sea and chose coastal real estate in 2005 so that my career would allow me to be creative and help people make their property dreams come true.  With my background in financial analysis and accounting, I am well-equipped to provide accurate and relevant information to support my clients' decision-making.  Whether you're dreaming of buying or selling in Alabama or Florida, my relentless quest to fulfill your dreams will ensure that I will be an advocate for you, making the process pleasant and thorough.

Not all "licensed real estate agents" carry the distinction of REALTOR®.  Only Members of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) who agree to abide by a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice are known as Realtors (REELtor).  NAR's Code of Ethics, adopted in 1913, was one of the first codifications of ethical duties adopted by any business group.  The preamble warms my heart and reminds me of my "why":

Preamble
Under all is the land. Upon its wise utilization and widely allocated ownership depend the survival and growth of free institutions and of our civilization.
Realtors® should recognize that the interests of the nation and its citizens require the highest and best use of the land and the widest distribution of land ownership. They require the creation of adequate housing, the building of functioning cities, the development of productive industries and farms, and the preservation of a healthful environment.

Such interests impose obligations beyond those of ordinary commerce. They impose grave social responsibility and a patriotic duty to which Realtors® should dedicate themselves, and for which they should be diligent in preparing themselves. Realtors®, therefore, are zealous to maintain and improve the standards of their calling and share with their fellow Realtors® a common responsibility for its integrity and honor.

In recognition and appreciation of their obligations to clients, customers, the public, and each other, Realtors® continuously strive to become and remain informed on issues affecting real estate and, as knowledgeable professionals, they willingly share the fruit of their experience and study with others. They identify and take steps, through enforcement of this Code of
Ethics and by assisting appropriate regulatory bodies, to eliminate practices which may damage the public or which might discredit or bring dishonor to the real estate profession. Realtors® having direct personal knowledge of conduct that may violate the Code of Ethics involving misappropriation of client or customer funds or property, willful discrimination, or fraud resulting
in substantial economic harm, bring such matters to the attention of the appropriate Board or Association of Realtors®.

Realizing that cooperation with other real estate professionals promotes the best interests of those who utilize their services, Realtors® urge exclusive representation of clients; do not attempt to gain any unfair advantage over their competitors; and they refrain from making unsolicited comments about other practitioners. In instances where their opinion is sought, or where
Realtors® believe that comment is necessary, their opinion is offered in an objective, professional manner, uninfluenced by any personal motivation or potential advantage or gain.

The term Realtor® has come to connote competency, fairness, and high integrity resulting from adherence to a lofty ideal of moral conduct in business relations. No inducement of profit and no instruction from clients ever can justify departure from this ideal. In the interpretation of this obligation, Realtors® can take no safer guide than that which has been handed down through the centuries, embodied in the Golden Rule, “Whatsoever ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them.

 

The Code ensures that consumers are served by requiring REALTORS® to cooperate with each other in furthering clients' best interests. The Code of Ethics goes far beyond most State laws and establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of Realtors® since the Code of Ethics was first established. Those principles can be loosely defined as:
 

  • Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
  • Loyalty to clients;
  • Cooperation with competitors;
  • Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

Founded in 1908, NAR has grown from its original nucleus of 120 members to more than 1 million today. NAR is composed of REALTORS® who are involved in residential and commercial real estate as brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors, and others who are engaged in all aspects of the real estate industry.

Members belong to one or more of 1,700 local associations/boards and 54 state and territory associations of REALTORS® and can join one of our many institutes, societies, and councils. Additionally, NAR offers members the opportunity to be active in our appraisal and international real estate specialty sections. REALTORS® are pledged to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
